The performance of Aristeem depends on several factors including your device, location, software configuration, and most importantly — the quality and stability of your internet connection. It also depends on how your internet service provider (ISP) routes the connection to our data centers.
Recommended Bandwidth:
Minimum 10 Mbps for 720p HD at 60 FPS
Minimum 15 Mbps for 1080p Full HD at 60 FPS
Minimum 25 Mbps for the best performance (recommended by Aristeem)
Preferred Connection Type:
Wired Ethernet connection (fiber-optic is ideal)
Wi-Fi router operating at 5 GHz
⚠️ Please note: Aristeem cannot guarantee stable performance if you're using any of the following connection types:
Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz
LTE / 3G / 4G mobile networks
DSL connections
Even if your device meets all hardware requirements, performance may still be affected if:
Your internet connection is shared with others
There are active downloads/uploads on your network
File sharing or streaming is consuming bandwidth
Similarly, even with a high-speed connection, insufficient device specs may lead to performance issues.
Bitrate Recommendation:
For optimal performance, we suggest setting your stream bitrate to about 30% lower than your actual connection speed to our servers.
Stream Quality | Minimum Bandwidth | Recomended Bandwidth |
---|---|---|
4К | 64 Mbps | 93 Mbps |
2К | 44 Mbps | 64 Mbps |
1080p | 24 Mbps | 35 Mbps |
720p | 14 Mbps | 20 Mbps |
Additional Technical Recommendations:
Always use a wired connection or a 5 GHz Wi-Fi router for best results.
If you’re using a laptop or MacBook without an Ethernet port, we recommend using an Ethernet adapter via USB 2.0 / 3.0, USB Type-C, or Thunderbolt.
Minimum Supported MTU Values:
1470 for browser use
1500 is the ideal MTU for streaming
You can check your current MTU value using available online tools.
Network Protocol:
We recommend using IPv4, as some users may experience connectivity issues over IPv6.
Codec Support:
Aristeem streaming supports H.264 and H.265 video codecs:
H.265 offers better optimization and lower bandwidth usage for the same visual quality.
Our browser version supports only H.264.
